Join our team as a

Medical Solutions Lead, Rheumatology , and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our Immunology Patient Value Unit (iPVU) in the US market. We're looking for a visionary leader who can translate scientific insights into actionable strategies that drive the success of our cutting-edge immunology products.

This position is located in our Atlanta, GA corporate office. Relocation assistance is available.

What you’ll do

Strategic Leadership : Spearhead data generation initiatives for innovative immunology products with a focus on rheumatology, ensuring alignment with overall product plans.

Data & Insights : Lead key exploratory data analysis projects, and critically evaluate proposals for Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Expert Engagement : Stay at the forefront of rheumatology by maintaining strong connections with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leveraging competitive intelligence.

Publications & Communication : Oversee the preparation and submission of high-impact publications for scientific congresses and ensure the quality of brand promotional materials and medical education resources.

Training & Development : Design and implement training programs that empower our teams with deep expertise in rheumatology and immunology, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed.

Rheumatology Expertise : Serve as the primary medical expert in rheumatology, providing strategic guidance to the US Immunology Patient Value team and influencing key decisions.

Who you’ll work with:

Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team to address data gaps and collaborate with the publication manager to manage impactful publication plans.

KOL Partnerships : Develop and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to identify data needs and steer data mining programs that support our product strategies.

Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate degree (MD, PharmD, DO, Ph. D)

Minimum of 2 years of strategic in-house Medical Affairs experience OR

7 years of field medical affairs Medical Science Liaison or equivalent and relevant work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications

Specific experience in immunology

Advanced scientific knowledge in immunology

Mastery of general scientific or medical research principles

Proven aptitude to learn quickly

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to think based on both business and scientific principles

Strong project management skills, including projects managed via a matrix organization

Self-motivated, proactive problem solver

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position’s anticipated base salary range is 141,000-186,000 per year. The actual salary offered may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, among other factors.
