Tennessee Brew Works is seeking a Packaging Manager for our brewery in Nashville, TN. The requisition is for a
full-time, salaried position , responsible for executing packaging operations. The candidate must also hold competences in corrective and preventative maintenance with a moderate to strong comprehension of mechanical fundamentals. Previous experience beneficial.
The position is full time, $42-$50k starting wage, depending on experience, plus $335/month health insurance subsidy for our group plans. We also offer 401(k) and a limited contribution matching plan, no vesting period.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain integrity of production, kegging and bottling/canning equipment.Develop processes for efficient plant operations, including inventory management, organization of packaging materials, cleanliness of brewery space, maintaining equipment in ideal operating conditions, adhering to scheduling of kegging and bottling runs with packaging manager,Manage kegging, canning and bottling runs, which includes scheduling and coordinating packaging personnel.Record keeping of inventory, operations, and SOPs.Training of packaging team on machinery operation, maintenance, and safety.Participation in brewery activities and events.
Qualifications, Experience & Expectations:
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.Moderate to strong mechanical comprehension.Knowledge of quality assurance practices in packaging.Cleanliness and attention to detail.Flexible work schedule.Ability to work extended hours in unconditioned warehouse environment.Strict attention and adherence to safety standards.Team player.
