is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

to join our team

on a part-time basis . In this key leadership role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents, oversee clinical operations, and collaborate closely with both the nursing and administrative staff. This position requires strong leadership abilities, a commitment to patient care, and effective team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Nursing Leadership

Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, and overseeing all nursing operations within the facility.

Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Collaborate with the DON to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Care:

Ensure the provision of compassionate and patient-centered care to all residents.

Monitor and assess residents' health status, including conducting regular rounds and reviewing care plans.

Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and update individualized care plans.

Staff Development:

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing constructive feedback and promoting professional growth.

Assist in staff recruitment, orientation, and training to maintain a competent and motivated nursing team.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Participate in surveys and audits, addressing deficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Quality Improvement:

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement evidence-based practices.

Monitor and track key performance indicators related to nursing care, resident outcomes, and satisfaction.

Communication and Collaboration:

Foster open communication and collaboration among nursing staff, other departments, residents, and their families.

Act as a liaison between the nursing department and the DON, reporting on departmental activities and concerns.

Education and/or Experience:

Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.

Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.

3 years experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.

Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.

Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.

Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!

Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
