About the RoleUnited Global Technologies (UGT) is seeking an experienced Offshore Government Proposal Writer based in India to support our growing portfolio of government contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing government requests for proposals (RFPs), creating response templates, and generating comprehensive responses for various sections. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in government proposal writing and a keen understanding of U.S. government contracting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and Analyze RFPs:

Read and interpret U.S. government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to extract key requirements, deadlines, and compliance needs.

Architect Proposal Templates:

Design and structure proposal templates that streamline the response process while maintaining full compliance with RFP requirements.

Content Creation:

Write and edit clear, accurate, and compliant responses for all sections of the proposal, including technical, management, past performance, staffing, and pricing.

Ensure Compliance:

Review all proposals to ensure they meet U.S. government standards and are aligned with the requirements stated in the RFP.

Collaborate with U.S.-Based Teams:

Work closely with UGT’s U.S.-based business development, capture management, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information for the proposal.

Manage Proposal Deadlines:

Oversee proposal development timelines to ensure all sections are completed and submitted on schedule.

Content Library Development:

Create and maintain a library of reusable content for future proposals, ensuring accuracy and relevance to UGT’s services and capabilities.

Review and Edit:

Incorporate feedback from U.S. stakeholders and refine content to improve the quality and competitiveness of each proposal.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government proposal writing, specifically for U.S. government contracts.

Understanding of U.S. Government RFPs:

Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, or local government procurement processes, including FAR and DFARS regulations.

Strong Writing and Editing Skills:

Exceptional ability to write, edit, and proofread proposal content, with attention to compliance, clarity, and persuasiveness.

Project Management Skills:

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and submission.

Detail-Oriented:

High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all sections of the proposals.

Collaborative Team Player:

Ability to work remotely with U.S.-based teams and integrate feedback to enhance the proposal's quality.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with proposal management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

APMP Certification:

APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification or equivalent training in proposal management.

Knowledge of U.S. Government Contract Vehicles:

Familiarity with U.S. government contract vehicles such as GSA Schedules, IDIQs, and BPAs.

Experience with Proposal Tools:

Experience using proposal automation software such as Deltek, SharePoint, or Crelate.
