This position is directly responsible for the daily operation of the manufacturing process, facility, and people to ensure quality products are produced according to company safety standards and customer commitments. We are looking for a strong leader that that focuses on collaboration, team building, continuous improvement, and efficiency.

This position is responsible for managing the manufacturing, quality, safety, and maintenance functions.Key Responsibilities include:Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day manufacturing operations which continually meet Company production requirements.Oversee the quality of products and ensure products meet company standards.Ensure a strong safety environment by continually reviewing safety standards and processes and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and initiatives.Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to strengthen operational efficiency and cost containment.Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying and validating manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals.Drive cost efficiency throughout manufacturing process including raw materials utilization, labor resources and effective oversight.Provide reporting to management regarding safety, operation, efficiency, process control and procedures.Foster a high-performance culture of learning, growth, collaboration, and accountability.Drive excellence in Food Safety, HACCP, GMP and OSHA compliance throughout manufacturing operations.Maintain operating efficiency of machine assets.Drive and champion new technologies, collaborations, and improved processes to define, leverage, and implement best production practices including leading continuous improvements in cost reduction, production time, and pipeline capacity using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six SigmaIdeal candidate will be a strong business partner and leader with the ability to scope and understand business needs and implement solutions along with:7-10 years of plant manager experience in packaging, printing, converting or similar industryBachelors degree in business, operations management or similar fieldPrevious experience in a growing manufacturing environmentDemonstrated leadership with at least 3 years leading cross-functional teams to drive transformational improvements and changes.Strong experience in lean manufacturing processes with exposure to Lean, 5S, Six SigmaDemonstrated strong oral and written communications skillsExpert analytical skills
