Duties & Responsibilities:Arranging transport of import and export FTL and LTL shipments within and between Canada and the USANegotiating rates with CarriersQuoting CustomersTracking shipmentsCommunicating shipment details with customers and agentsSubmitting documents to Customs BrokersArranging local pickups and deliveriesCalculating revenue and costs on shipment files
Mindset & Personality:Customer Service Oriented : Client focused and providing an exceptional experience for our customersResponsive:
Committed to a high level of responsiveness both inside our business and with our customers and vendorsProactive : Takes initiative and an organized approach to day to day operations as well as future needs
Professional & Educational Background:Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Transborder Operations in the 3PL industryKnowledge of Forward Air type systemsWorking knowledge of LoadlinkExperience with Tradeshow and white glove freight
Skills & Ability:Communication : Has good listening skills and communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats including proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuationOrganization : Must be highly organized and detail-oriented when dealing with our fast- paced environmentMulti-tasking : Must have strong multi-tasking abilities, be proactive and adaptable based on the needs of the company and our clients
