Key Responsibilities:

The Auditor - Inflight Quality Control will provide insight to the Inflight Safety organization through continuous auditing of the Inflight Services division. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Inflight operations, regulatory compliance, safety reporting programs (ISAP, FA-FRMP), Infight's Safety Management System (SMS), and other departments within the Inflight organization.

Supports Infight's Quality Control program through upkeep of manuals, processes and procedures, conducting of audits, regular contact with divisional partners, and analysis of data.Prepare and conduct audits of the Inflight Services division in accordance with internal and federal government standards.Conduct daily briefings with division leadership during audit periods to communicate performance status.Participates in corporate audit preparation (IOSA, DOD, etc.)Develop, revise, implement, and maintain audit checklists and programs to meet Safety and Regulatory compliance standards, in addition to operational performance needs.Build new ad hoc audit checklists to ensure conformance with Infight's robust Safety Assurance process for comprehensive fixes, corrective actions, and mitigations per United's Safety Management System and the FAA's voluntary disclosure reporting program.Collaborate with Corporate Safety and Regulatory Compliance on policy and procedures concerning Inflight programs and intra-divisional interfaces.Optimally utilize audit and safety performance data to convey trends and analysis to both internal and external operational stakeholders, per United's SMS program and meeting structure.Provide subject matter expertise for various safety programsUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's Degree or related experience3 years' experience in the commercial air carrier industry, auditing, or a highly regulated safety environmentExperience with Voluntary Disclosure Reporting ProgramsExperience with corporate or aviation auditingFatigue Risk Management ProgramsSafety Management SystemsSolid knowledge with related Federal Aviation Rules and RegulationsApplicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations governing air carrier operations, aviation security, occupational health and safetyEffective written and oral communication skillsProven ability to work collaboratively with other departments and manage changeAbility to present ideas & findings to Executive LeadershipWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Flight Attendant experienceStrong analytical skills
