Salesforce QA Tester

Job Description:As a Salesforce QA Tester, you will track incidents such as helpdesk tickets, sentinel events, and more. This system will allow both internal program staff and external community users to input information securely in a HIPAA-compliant database, with data routed to state staff for resolution and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop user stories and technical requirements that span multiple business areas.Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions to ensure that requirements are testable.Identify potential issues with business processes, customizations, and Salesforce platform development.Conduct business process reviews for requirement gathering and documentation.Design and execute software testing processes and procedures to ensure software meets defined requirements.Create detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases.Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing.Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.Continuously communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce applications' quality.Identify and report risks or issues that could impact the quality of the application.Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance.Document and report defects or anomalies, providing clear steps to reproduce and expected outcomes to support efficient resolution.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Proficient understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities, including configuration, customization, and integration.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.Excellent understanding of automated testing practices and tools.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
