As HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in our growing People team, contributing both strategically and hands-on to foster an innovative and dynamic workplace culture. You will bring creative and effective solutions to support our rapidly expanding organization, focusing on attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating our team members. Your role will involve supporting executives and leadership teams within our corporate functions to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute strategic people initiatives for teams within the corporate functions, optimizing business functions and aligning them with organizational goals.
Partner with executive leadership to enhance culture, shape priorities, and anticipate needs.
Advise senior leadership on best practices, driving top-down change and empower leaders.
Identify and address leadership/team gaps, recommending or creating necessary resources.
Communicate patterns and root causes to leadership, proposing plans to mitigate business risks.
Strategically partner with IT, Finance, Commercialization, and Continuous Improvement leadership to design organizational strategies that support business objectives and innovation.
Support talent management initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
Design and implement effective organizational structures to support innovation and team effectiveness.
Lead complex change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during growth or restructuring.
Oversee performance management processes, aligning them with business goals and coaching managers.
Analyze People data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Share best practices and provide feedback, taking ownership of closing foreseeable gaps.
Skills and Requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Experience supporting C-suite executives with the ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
Experienced creative problem solver who takes initiative, meticulously executes ideas, and takes ownership to drive impactful outcomes.
Breadth and depth of strategic HR and employment law experience.
Extensive experience in designing and launching initiatives and cross-functional collaborations from inception, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Exhibits exceptional emotional intelligence and sound judgment, fostering effective partnerships and making informed decisions to support business objectives.
Experience with organizational transformations and working within collaborative environments.
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering leadership development and/or organization behavior solutions within a corporate or management consulting setting.
Experience as an HRBP supporting corporate functions (i.e. Finance, IT, Sales, and Business Development.
Open to regular travel (of at least 25%) to events and offices for various offsite and team meetings.
Experience / Education
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field preferred.
10-12+ years of Senior HRBP experience in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, employee relations, talent learning and development, diversity, performance management, and federal and respective state employment laws.
5+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, showcasing strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Experience with change management methodologies and guiding organizations through cultural transformations, indicating the ability to navigate complex organizational changes effectively.
