The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a

Thoracic Radiologist

for a faculty position at UCSF/Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The department is seeking candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of cardiac and thoracic imaging, including diagnostic CT, MRI, ultrasound, as well as image-guided biopsies. The selected candidate is expected to supervise trainees and to provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent) and the ability (or eligibility) to practice medicine in California. Ideally, applicants should be fellowship trained, preferably in Thoracic Imaging (completed by appointment start date). Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter the ABR Alternate Pathway. Applicants must list all of these qualifications (or if pending) on their CV upon submission. health sciences compensation plan
