Thoracic RadiologistThe Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Thoracic Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of cardiac and thoracic imaging. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in thoracic imaging (completed by appointment start date). Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway. The selected candidate must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment.
