Join our team as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the company's financial operations, payroll processing, and accounting functions. This critical role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective resource management while collaborating with various departments to provide high-level accounting support.
Essential Functions:Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review financial statements; manage month-end and year-end closings; coordinate audits.Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead budgeting processes; monitor budget adherence; forecast financial performance.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations; stay updated with changes in tax codes and accounting standards.Internal Controls:
Develop and monitor financial controls; establish procedures to mitigate risks.Team Management:
Supervise and mentor corporate accounting team; oversee day-to-day accounting functions.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency; leverage accounting software for automation.Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity; assist with treasury functions.Payroll Processing:
Supervise third-party payroll; develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. (CPA, MBA preferred)In-depth understanding of accounting principles and functions.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Working knowledge of industry related accounting and/or project management software.Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Strong ability to interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration.Ability to manage change and meet competing deadlines.
