CLINICAL ASSISTANT

RMA is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Assistant for the Basking Ridge, NJ location who will work Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:30am - 1:30pm with rotating holidays.Responsibilities:Assist physicians with clinical proceduresAccurately document ultrasound report in stim sheetIdentify specimen for inseminationMaintain sterile techniquePerform routine patient assessmentPhlebotomyClean exam rooms promptlyMaintain clinical supplies inventoryManage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refillsEnter all labs and outside reportsComfort patients by anticipating patient's anxieties; answering patient's questionsAssure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standardsMaintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the PracticeRequirements:Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferredMinimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practiceWomen's Healthcare background preferredExcellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and ExcelEMR experience preferredStrong phlebotomy skillsAbility to communicate accurately and conciselyMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
