Overview of the Accounting Manager role:Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerPrepare accurate and timely financial statements and reportsPrepare quarterly budgets and financial forecasts with budget performance monitoringEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal policiesSupervise and mentor the accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentCoordinate and prepare for internal and external auditsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiencyMonitor and control costs to ensure financial sustainability
Preferred qualifications for the Accounting Manager:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong organizational and prioritization skillsKeen attention to detailed accuracy5+ years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
