NonePOSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Position Overview:
The Armed Security Guard secures the facility under established operating procedures and processes.Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breachesRespond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations and suspicious activities. Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate actionSecure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidencePerform crowd control as requiredPerform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as requiredComplete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established proceduresStaff post continuously and provide access controlControl access to restricted areas. Report violations.Direct and provide information to visitorsMay operate x-ray machines, magnetometers, hand-held wands and screen packagesSafeguard all assetsProvide assistance as requiredEscort persons and equipment as neededConduct foot/vehicle patrols as requiredMonitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance.Conduct other assignments in accordance with established SOPsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
