Furthermore, the position of Community Development Director also requires an individual who values and embraces engagement with Department, community, and regional stakeholders to achieve organization goals.The successful applicant must have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in municipal Planning at a minimum level of Senior Planner, Manager, or Deputy Director as well as have the ability and resources to learn California land use policy and regulations. The successful candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Urban or Regional Planning, Public Administration, Architecture, Engineering or a related field plus 6 years of increasingly responsible experience in urban planning, including 3 years administrative or supervisory capacity.The annual salary range of the position is negotiable up to $235,776 based on experience, as well provides excellent executive level benefits.To apply for this exciting career opportunity, please visit our website at:
