40Position DescriptionPrimary Purpose and Essential FunctionsResponsible for providing didactic, pre-doctoral curriculum including Integrated Curricular Sciences. Pacific faculty engage in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Responsibilities to may include any of the following:

I. Teaching CurriculumInstruction in the Integrated Curricular Sciences course. Participate in outcomes assessment, including student and peer evaluation, to improve curricular content and presentation.Participate in outcomes assessment, including student and peer evaluation, to improve curricular content and presentation.II. Collaboration and Service

Engage broadly in other school, university, professional, and community service opportunities.In addition to the traditional expectations for faculty members, the culture of humanism and collaboration is especially important.Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of:Restorative and preventive information and techniquesDental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment

Education:

DDS / DMD

or international equivalent from an accredited dental school program

Licenses/Certifications

Valid

CPR

certificationPreferred Qualifications

Ability to:Communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients. students, staff, faculty and administration.Work independently with minimal supervision.Work effectively in a group setting.Reflect, self-assess, and think critically.Maintain confidentiality of information.Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations.

Experience:

Previous teaching or practice experience is preferredMinimum of one year practice experience preferred

Other:

Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.Physical Requirements

Hiring Range

$40 per hour.
