The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking academic oncologists with a subspecialty focus in malignant hematology, including myeloma, lymphoma, and leukemia. These non-tenure-track appointments will be made at a rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.The Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Medicine is a key component of the Oncology Service line within the George Washington Cancer Center (GWCC). The GWCC brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

These are clinical positions with support for clinical research, along with clinical teaching of students, house staff, and fellows. The positions entail a mix of outpatient care and staffing of an inpatient malignant hematology service.Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Hematology and/or Medical Oncology at the time of appointment and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia. Experience and interest in teaching students, residents, and fellows are required.Advertised Salary:
