The Urban Studies Program at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut invites applications for a tenure-track position in environmental urban studies. While we are open to the geographic area of candidates’ teaching and research expertise, we have some preference for South Asia, Latin America, and/or the Caribbean, or a global-comparative approach across two or more of these regions.Qualifications
We seek a colleague at the assistant professor level for this broad interdisciplinary area who is an advanced ABD, a newly minted Ph.D. or a postdoc in Anthropology, Geography, Sociology, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies or related fields and demonstrates a promising record of teaching and scholarship in two or more of these areas: climate change, urban sustainability, socioenvironmental justice, mobility and transportation, human migration, and renewable energy.Compensation
Competitive salary and benefits, plus start-up expense fund.Special Instructions to Applicants
