Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What you get to do:Provide emergency and first aid care to guests and employeesAssist with overseeing operations of Health Services UnitOngoing communication with supervisor department manager regarding status of employee cases and operations of unitOngoing mentoring of new and existing staff to ensure high quality of service and thorough understanding of existing protocolsEnsure injury/illness reports are thorough, interventions appropriate, follow ups are completedBe proactive in making adjustments to schedule/assignments when neededPerform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:Must have current State Registered Nurse, Paramedic or EMT licenseHave a minimum of 2 years of active clinical experience in an EMS system or hospital setting,Be able to complete provided Health Care Provider CPR training/certificationStrong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.Be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environmentBe able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter with good organizational skills,Comfortable working in/around waterBe able to carry a bag weighing approximately 35 pounds to all calls throughout the park, including up and down stairsBe able to stand for long periods of timeComfortable with heightsComfortable with exposure to noise, vibrations and motionBe able to train on and properly use protective gearComfortable working around fumes/dust/odorComfortable working around chemicalsBe able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremesAvailable to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays

What else is important:Prior experience with OSHA programs, vaccines and worker's compensation case management a plusComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs are a plusEmergency-based experience and triage skills are preferredPossession of a valid state driver’s license preferredHave at least 1 year of leadership experience, supervising a team of staff members preferredAt least 1 year of experience within the Health Services Department preferred
