Syracuse University School of Architecture - a top-ranked research institution that is committed to building a diverse faculty - seeks candidates for a tenure-track position in Architectural Design at the Assistant Professor rank starting in the 2025-2026 academic year.Qualifications:Professional or terminal degree in architecture or related field.Job Specific Qualifications:Successful candidates should possess professional experience in architectural design and demonstrate a potential for recognized research that may include built work, theoretical explorations, advocacy, creative work, and/or scholarship in the form of publications, exhibitions, and grants. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate their research interests, creative work, or professional practice into their teaching. We encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups, and candidates with experience teaching and working with diverse communities and students.Responsibilities:Teaching responsibilities include design studios and a seminar or lecture course in a well-defined field of expertise in building technology, building systems, media, representation, history, or theory.
