investigators with research relevant to pediatric cancer or blood disorders to apply for Assistant to Professor, tenure-track faculty positions . Preference will be given to research that relates to the following fields: stem cell biology and transplantation; cellular therapies; immunotherapeutics; cancer predisposition syndromes; or gene therapies. However, candidates with experience in any research field related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or basic biology of cancers and blood disorders affecting children and adolescents are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative, independent, collaborative, and extramurally-funded research program. The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders and is a member of the National Cancer Institute supported Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research and clinical trials.

Candidates must have a PhD or MD/PhD. Preference will be given to applicants with an established and extramurally funded research program with a strong record of peer-reviewed grant funding and publications.
