Head Chef

Come and join the team as Head Chef at our popular community club.The Burleigh Leagues Club is looking for a full-time Head Chef to ignite a fiery passion for excellence in customer service and help elevate the dining experience to new heights.You will work closely with the Executive Chef and a team of culinary professionals to achieve culinary excellence and consistently exceed our members' expectations.This role will have you oversee kitchen operations, food preparation, and work with our Executive Chef on designing innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the kitchens, ordering and preparation of sections for both restaurants, and the capability to make pizza and tapas if required, as well as food from Kitchen34.You must be a passionate Chef, a true leader by example, supporting and managing a team while having a true understanding of HACCP protocol. You will need to have a strong knowledge of banqueting, canape platters, buffet, alternated drop plated dinner, as well as a full understanding of costing analyses, monthly, weekly, and daily specials.To be successful, you will always be friendly and professional, truly understand priority whilst working in a fast-paced kitchen.Collaboration is key in this dynamic role, as you work closely with your team members and management across all locations to create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression. A commercial cookery qualification would be an advantage.Previous experience in a Head Chef role.Previous experience within a Club.Leadership and supervisory experience with other BOH employees.Experience in ordering and stock control.Safe Food Handling Supervisor Certificate.Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating.What we offer:
