As a major research university, we are well positioned to support faculty candidates who have strong or developing programs of research in areas of adult oncology, cancer survivorship, and cancer care delivery and outcomes. Preference will be given to applicants with active research that aligns with the position, consideration will be given to the applicants with projects of research within the last 5 years that align with the position. Research is encouraged to focus on the cancer center’s catchment area, which features a high proportion of patients who are racially and ethnically diverse, rural, and medically underserved. This faculty appointment would include mentorship of junior faculty and students and emphasize relationship building with our community of investigators to progress programs of research consistent with the college and cancer center missions.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related fieldDemonstrated expertise in a defined area of nursingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS CONSISTENT WITH DESIRED RANK:Recognized record of accomplishment via publication in leading journalsCurrent or historical ability to establish or maintain extramurally funded research programLicensed Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of South CarolinaEquity, Diversity, and Inclusion:
