*CareOne at Hanover (Whippany NJ) - Skilled Nursing Rehab Facility - We are hiring for an experienced Director of Social Services to join our team.*
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a team of social services professionals- Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities- Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations and agencies- Oversee the budgeting and financial management of social services programs- Provide administrative support and ensure compliance with regulations and policies- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services and resources- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field- Proven experience in program management and supervision- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices- Strong budgeting and financial management skills- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement social services programs- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
