Sr. Research Associate

to drive in vivo studies using our novel nucleic acid therapeutics platform. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with animal models and brings scientific rigor, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm to their role. This individual will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, operating as part of a highly collaborative and rapidly growing team.Key Responsibilities:Execution and analysis of animal experiments to assess in vivo efficacy, safety, and PK/PD profiles of novel nucleic acid therapeutics.Design and perform bioanalytical assays downstream of in vivo pharmacology work.Provide scientific and technical perspectives to advance platform development.Develop in-house capabilities to support work performed at CROs.Effectively communicate experimental findings in oral, written, and visual formats.Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Qualifications:BS or MS in relevant discipline with 2+ years of industry experience. Level will be based on experience.Experience executing in vivo studies across multiple different routes of administration, ideally involving gene delivery and/or nucleic acid-based therapeutics in rat or mouse.Mastery in collecting material (blood, tissue, etc.) for ex vivo analysis and processing with ex vivo analytical assays such as ELISA, FACS, MSD, qPCR, etc.Experience with histological tissue analysis (IHC/IF, ISH, H&E, etc.) is a plus.Experience with various mouse and rat models of diseases is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and rapidly growing biotech environment.Equal Employment Opportunity:
