We continue to serve the educational and economic development needs of the region and proudly boast more than 40,000 alumni.Job Description:The adjunct instructor is responsible for demonstrations, lecturing, compiling tests, assessing student performance relative to standardized learning objectives. This course includes a lab component. This course is hybrid which means lecture material is online and lab component is face-to-face.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in Culinary Arts with extensive bakery experience or Associate's degree in Pastry Arts from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency.5 years professional bakery experience.5 years prior teaching or training experience.Candidate must be certified to teach online through OCC Quality Matters before being assigned to this course.Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager.Preferred Qualifications:B.S. in Pastry Arts from an accredited academic institution or foreign equivalency.Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.Additional Information:Adjunct rate of pay is $1,371/credit hour (23/24 rate).Anticipated Hours: This course runs 1st 1/2 semester 1/27/25 - 3/19/25.
