We have built a reputation for taking on some of the most challenging and complex projects and successfully completing them on, or even ahead of, schedule.At P&J, we believe that it’s more than a job; it’s a way of life.Join the P&J team today and become a valued member of our company.SummaryThe Safety Manager will be responsible for all night shift safety operations on the job site.Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts field assessments and audits to ensure compliance with our Corporate EH&S Program Manual, applicable local/state/federal regulations, and project/client specific requirements. Works with the project team to resolve any hazards identified.Generates reports to document findings from audits and follows up to ensure corrective action is taken in a timely manner to mitigate any hazards identified.Reviews, schedules, and coordinates Industrial Hygiene sampling and results as required.Identifies areas of improvement within the EH&S Program Manual and provides suggestions for continues improvement.Provides project safety coverage, when needed, to assist in filling any gaps for coverage.Provides EH&S training and orientations infrequently.Other duties as assigned by PIH Corporate Safety & Risk.Education and Credentials:Bachelor’s Degree in safety related field preferred5 years of safety experience in construction industryASP or GSP certificationCHST certificationOR

if No Degree10 years of safety experience in construction industryOSHA 500CHST certificationRequirementsMinimum of four years of construction safety experience.Working knowledge of applicable regulations and safe work practices as it relates to heavy civil and power delivery construction activities.Must be willing to be on night shift.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels within the organization.CompensationSalary will be based on a combination of previous related experience, education, and credentials.Company truck with all expenses covered.401K matching, medical benefits, etc. provided.
