We have built a reputation for taking on some of the most challenging and complex projects and successfully completing them on, or even ahead of, schedule.At P&J, we believe that it’s more than a job; it’s a way of life.Join the P&J team today and become a valued member of our company.SummaryThe Safety Manager will be responsible for all night shift safety operations on the job site.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct field assessments and audits to ensure compliance with our Corporate EH&S Program Manual, applicable local/state/federal regulations, and project/client specific requirements. Work with the project team to resolve any hazards identified.Generate reports to document findings from audits and follow up to ensure corrective action is taken in a timely manner to mitigate any hazards identified.Review, schedule, and coordinate Industrial Hygiene sampling and results as required.Identify areas of improvement within the EH&S Program Manual and provide suggestions for continuous improvement.Provide project safety coverage, when needed, to assist in filling any gaps for coverage.Provide EH&S training and orientations infrequently.Other duties as assigned by PIH Corporate Safety & Risk.Education and Credentials:Bachelor’s Degree in a safety-related field preferred.5 years of safety experience in the construction industry and ASP or GSP certification and CHST certification.OR
