Job Summary:

The post-doctoral fellow will conduct cutting-edge research in microbiology, molecular biology, and genetics, working closely with chemical biologists. The research project may involve culturing bacterial, yeast, and mammalian cells, application of modern genetic tools, in vivo and in vitro models, and expression and purification of proteins and nucleic acids, as well as biophysical, biochemical, and structural analysis, including protein-ligand interactions. Additionally, the fellow is required to document protocols, maintain lab notebook records, and summarize results in written format with weekly and monthly presentations in support of the research activities.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate subject knowledge and oral/written communication skills to discuss and document research progress.

Work independently and accurately, solving technical and methodological issues that arise during the course of research.

Apply sound research techniques, methodology, and logical critical analysis.

Exhibit strong organization and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Recent PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, or Biochemistry.

Minimum of 3 first author publications.
