Our mission is to better serve our communities and provide a place where individuals can foster skills to effectively communicate with loved ones and peers to engage in socially meaningful experiences across their lifespan. DV Therapy Inc offers speech, occupational, and applied behavior analysis to infants, children, and adults across environments.
What You'll Do:
As a behavior technician, you will work directly with children with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) in our ABA clinic and in a variety of other settings where the client and their family will maximally benefit.
Behavior technicians will utilize DV Therapy Inc’s modified ABA strategies/techniques to build skill repertoires (e.g., social communication, socialization, etc.) to thereby reduce challenging behaviors.
Behavior technicians are provided with high quality training, with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Training and support will occur throughout your time at DV Therapy Inc, to consistently expose staff to the most cutting-edge approaches to best support our clients.
Behavior technicians will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and receive ongoing training/feedback throughout time.
Behavior technicians will also record data in multiple forms to determine the effectiveness of a treatment plan and allow for the most effective intervention to be designed by the BCBA following DV Therapy Inc’s 10 commandments.
Other administrative tasks may be assigned as needed (e.g., creating stimuli for clients).
