Sirius Staffing is seeking an I/E Technician for a 6-month contract in Lafayette, LA. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.Pay:
$30.00/hourSummary:
Install, test, calibrate, tune, maintain, repair, and modify all plant electrical, instrument, and control systems at the highest level of skill.Responsibilities:
Install, test, calibrate, tune, maintain, repair, and modify all plant electrical, instrument, and control systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople and engineers to develop effective solutions.Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others, minimizing risks associated with electrical and control systems work.Read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals to understand specifications and requirements for installation and repair. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and best practices.Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED.Proven experience as an I/E Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
