ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities for the position include:

Participate in the design of research studies.

Manage administrative aspects of projects.

Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports.

Support the writing of business requirements and technical specifications for projects involving the development of complex programming code for the evaluation and implementation of healthcare projects.

Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports.

Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content.

QualificationsEducation, Knowledge, and Experience:

Masters degree in Economics, Public Policy, Public Health, Health Services Research, or related social science field required,

OR

Bachelors degree with at least two years of relevant experience.

Experience and knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques.

Report and proposal preparation experience.

Knowledge of statistical software such as SAS, Python, or R.

Knowledge of SQL is preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with healthcare payment models from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is preferred, but not required.

Skills:

Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.

Ability to take initiative, work independently and in a team environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.

Disclosures:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

AIR's Total Rewards Program is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated salary of $32.00/hr. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
