ManagerAshland, NH (1,900 approx. pop) is seeking its next Town Manager. Our community is the gateway to the White Mountains and offers easy access to Squam Lake and I-93. Ashland is governed by a 5-member Select Board and the Town Manager oversees a $3.5 million municipal operating budget, town-owned electric utility, and water & sewer utility with 21 FT employees.To be considered for this role you must have economic development experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be tech-savvy, fluent in grant writing, and the ability to be transparent with and successfully manage the town's budget. We're looking for a dynamic Town Manager who is driven, open to new ideas, and willing to put in the work to take our community to the next level.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a municipal manager or administrator. An equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may also be considered.
