ManagerThe Town of Sebago is seeking its next full-time Town Manager. Sebago is a town of 1900+ year-round residents which triples during the summer months. The town is located in Cumberland County on the shores of Sebago Lake. The town has a Town Manager, Select Board, Town Meeting form of government.Responsibilities:Thorough knowledge of public administration, including personnel management, financial management, and public sector management principles, policies, and practices.Ability to interpret municipal policies and procedures, Town ordinances, and Federal and State statutes.Plan, organize, supervise and inspect the work of professional, technical, and support personnel.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, town officials, the business community, the general public, and State, County, and Federal officials.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.Five years of senior management experience (preferably in municipal government), or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.This is a full-time salaried position with a full benefits package; salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
