Postdoc Fellow – Brain Development:

Huntington Medical Research Institute (HMRI) is seeking a highly motivated and independent-minded individual for a postdoctoral position in the Angiogenesis and Brain Development Laboratory. The successful candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research using Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs) to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of psychiatric diseases, with the long-term goal of developing new diagnostics and treatments.Postdoc Fellow – Angiogenesis and Brain DevelopmentDesignation:

, with expertise in Stem Cell Biology.Candidates with a good track record of publications and experience in working with human iPSCs and molecular biology skills will be given priority.Excellent written and oral communication skills and an aptitude for mentoring students.Good judgment and decision-making capability.Observes laboratory safety and security procedures.Must be a reliable and conscientious self-starter, with excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, building respect, consensus, and trust across reporting lines.Job Description:The postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Angiogenesis and Brain Development Laboratory in the Department of Basic and Translational Neurosciences at HMRI, Pasadena, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for tapping into Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs) for the generation of endothelial and neuronal populations.
