ProSidian Seeks an Environmental Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE015020] - DPLH Est.: 2080 Hrs. ST | 0 Hrs. OT on an Exempt Contract Contingent Basis Engagement Team | Environmental Scientist Labor Category - STD Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541620 located CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming Across The Mid West Region supporting a federal agency within the Dept of Defense whose geo area encompasses a vast geographic region that includes all or parts of ten states: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming to provide critical engineering services to strengthen national security, support economic growth, and mitigate disaster risks focusing on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction across the Missouri River Basin.

Seeking Environmental Engineer candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as an Environmental Engineer in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Develop and implement environmental solutions; ensure regulatory compliance; oversee remediation projects.

The Engineer(s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications For Environmental Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE015020] Candidates:

Knowledge of environmental engineering principles; experience with regulatory compliance.

The Engineer(s) should also have three (3) years’ experience related to the investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience being related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design and construction of geotechnical features in Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

5+ years in environmental engineering; experience with remediation projects.

Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering.

The Engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field.

The Engineer(s) should have demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.

Skills Required

Environmental impact assessment, project management, technical writing, problem-solving.

Professional Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license recommended.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).

Other Details

Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW).

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
