Two days, Monday through Thursday, 1 - 4 pmPosition Salary Range:
Starting at $38 per hourGeneral Responsibilities:The Job Coach is one member of a three-person team of instructors in the Life Skills Employment and Education Program (LEEP) at the Howard County Detention Center. The Job Coach works with students to prepare for re-entry and gainful employment.Work Performed:Coach students to identify the job-related, adaptive, and transferrable skills they possess;Assist students in preparing a professional Resume and Cover Letter while building their digital literacy;Prepare students in all aspects of a job interview, culminating in a mock interview;Provide students with realistic ways to handle difficult questions relating to their incarceration in the most neutral way.Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum Number of Years Experience Required:
