A Roof Security Manager is responsible for directing and administering the implementation of all safety and security programs and initiatives to ensure the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.Requirements:Perc Certification20 hour security training CertificateCPR Certification/AED Certification Adult & InfantHigh school diploma or GEDDuties and Responsibilities:Direct and administer all Security operations and functions to include, but not limited to, preserving the safety and security of the guests, team members and the facility, safe work practice promotion, OSHA compliance, safety incentive programs and classes, systems use and management, lost and found, budgeting and forecasting, department management, adherence to federal, state and local standards and meeting participation and facilitation.Direct and administer the patrol of the interior of and the perimeter of the ROOF hotel to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.Direct and lead investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss and unlawful activities.Direct response to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.Serve as primary liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement.Oversee the administration and accuracy of all required reports and documentation.Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.Recruit, interview and train team members.Minimum 2-3 years of security experience.Minimum of 1 year of Nightclub operation/Special events.Some experience in hospitality.Ability to multitask/Time management/Communicate and send nightly reports.Knowledge of security operations and procedures.Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computers, maintaining evacuation exit points and ensuring pathways are clear and free of equipment, maintaining AED equipment.Provide clear directions to enforce security/safety and ensure that guard posts and orders are followed.Routinely communicate with the General Manager and Security Manager.Develop and implement security procedures and compliance with Hotel Policies, State and federal laws.Ability to create, track and maintain guard schedules weekly.Communicate with Hotel Security Manager daily and weekly regarding performance, safety issues/changes that need to be implemented.Ability to ensure that all functions, duties or tasks are carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with Hilton and the Hotel policies.Location:
