This is a Dual Rated Position with both job titles of

Security Officer II and Security Shift Supervisor.SECURITY OFFICER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSafeguard assets of the company.Enforce company security regulations and security department policies and procedures as directed by the Safety and Security Manager, Shift Supervisor or Lead Officer.Perform all security related duties for the casino.Escort all transfers of money and/or chips.Patrol all sections of the casino to identify safety hazards and breaches in security.Conduct investigations on reported incidents as directed.Investigate employee fraud against the company and customers as directed.Investigate accident reports as directed.Any reasonable request made by Management.Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.Maintain proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESImplements security department policies and procedures as directed by the Safety and Security Manager.Supervises all personnel assigned to the Safety/Security Department for the protection of guests, employees, and property on a shift basis.Plans and schedules security activities for a shift.Conducts follow-up investigations on reported incidents as directed.Ensures all reportable incidents are completely documented, entered in the database, and accounted for.Investigate employee fraud against the property and customers as directed.Investigate accident reports as directed.Any reasonable request made by Management.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time regardless of weather conditions. Must have broad knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures, with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License, and First Aid/CPR certifications.LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to effectively communicate in English.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.COMPUTER SKILLSMust have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.DISCLAIMER:
