Research projects:
1) utilizing ancient and modern DNA to study the evolution of metabolic genes and traits; 2) developing population genetics models to characterize gene-environment interactions in the evolution of human complex traits; 3) analyzing data from UK Biobank to empirically identify gene-environment interactions for human complex traits, especially the circulating levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The postdoc will perform literature reviews, project management, data analysis, manuscript writing, and presentations. (80% of time)Administrative responsibilities:
1) supervision and training of graduate and undergraduate students; 2) assisting with the daily operations of the laboratory. (20% of time)Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in a relevant field. Prior experience in population genetics or quantitative genetics. Strong background in programming and statistics.Contact Information
