Safety Coordinator

Denver branch . The

Safety Coordinator

is responsible for the coordination and stewardship of key elements of Tolin’s safety program, including awareness and communications, metrics and reporting, training and development, and other key safety processes. This role will support the Manager of Safety in developing new safety programs while establishing and maintaining a culture of safety throughout the organization.Responsibilities for Safety Coordinator include:

Support the Manager of Safety with implementation of the safety programEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rulesInternal company relationsExternal relations with customers and vendorsCollaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and proceduresTechnical competency of field activities in relation to performing the job safelyEnsures completion of required OSHA recordkeeping, recording, and reportingOSHA ComplianceSafety Training and DevelopmentConducts employee training on applicable safety standardsReviews safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updatesIdentifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problemsSite Safety ComplianceConducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulationsReview accident and incident reportsSafety Record KeepingAssist in fleet safety through GPS/Dashcam systemIdeal candidates will have the following qualifications:

General understanding of OSHA regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to conduct trainingExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareMinimum Qualifications:

Over 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or GEDExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license with driver records in good standingAverage Starting Rate: $21.00-$23.00/hr. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.Benefits:
