ADNET is seeking to hire an Analog Data Archivist to work at the NASA Space Science Data Coordinated Archive (NSSDCA) at Goddard Space Flight Center. Duties involve the tracking and inventory of analog data (paper documents, microfilm/microfiche, photographic materials) and interacting with other staff working to convert them into digital form. These data are scientific in nature and are being converted not only to fulfill requests for conducting research, but also to enhance long-term access to and preservation of the data. Other duties might include quality control review of digitized materials, supporting user request activity, and ordering supplies. The work requires specialized software/hardware and is full-time on-site.Required Skills:General office skills (typing, filing, copying)Ability to follow explicit directions and perform routine activitiesAbility to lift up to 40 poundsUS Citizenship or Permanent Residency (LPR) required, with US residency for the past 3 consecutive yearsDesired Skills:Experience working with archival materialsExperience with Windows and LinuxExperience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with Adobe Acrobat
