Electrical Field Test Technician

EPC Services Company (EPCS) has immediate openings for medium and high voltage electrical field test technicians. The successful candidates will join a team that performs testing and maintenance on medium and high voltage systems. Travel is a significant part of the job.
Responsibilities:
Electrical acceptance and maintenance testing of medium and high voltage apparatus.
AC and DC control circuit verification.
Participate in all EPCS and client safety and testing training programs.
Assist with testing of power transformers, medium and high voltage circuit breakers, instrument transformers, switches, reactors, capacitor banks, grounding systems, switchgear, protective relays, and control systems.
Prepare quotes for testing work and write formal test reports for clients as abilities grow.
Maintain equipment and manage shipping and receiving of equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Successful completion of Electric Utility Substation and Relay Technology program or similar program and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing and maintenance on medium and high voltage systems or nuclear testing is required. This position is subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Successful applicants are subject to EPCS's auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
