Environmental Engineer or Geologist (P5)

Immediate opening for a full-time entry or junior-level environmental engineer/geologist with 0 to 3 years of experience at an environmental consulting and software firm that offers technically complex projects and unique opportunities for growth. You will be a team member contributing to our environmental services market, participating in services related to investigation, remediation, and sustainability. Position is based out of Mountain View, CA. Candidate must be local due to field work responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesFollows and develops work plans and HASPsConducts field work including groundwater monitoring/remediation, indoor air and soil gas sampling, and assisting with mitigation system installationCoordinates with laboratories, drillers, vendors and subcontractorsConducts and leads analytical tasks such as field mapping, preparing tables, and charts using software reporting tools.Evaluates and interprets field and sampling results, contributes to monitoring and evaluation reportsUses in-house proprietary database softwareQuality assurance and quality control of dataCommunicates with clients and stakeholdersAssists with greenhouse gas verificationsRequirementsBS or MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biological Sciences or related field0–3 years of environmental consulting experienceSelf-starter with good communication and writing skillsAbility to work independentlyAttention to detail and strong time management capabilitiesAbility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility and willingness to travel to project and client sites–~25% of work time, mostly within Santa Clara CountyReliable transportationDesirable QualificationsEIT or ability to obtain within one year, preferredMS with demonstrated writing skills such as a thesisExperience with ArcGIS and/or CAD softwareExperience using or developing databasesApply For Position
