Lecturers for Fall 2024 - Various CoursesThe Department of Food Science in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Part-time Lecturers to teach various undergraduate or graduate courses such as: Science of Food, Principles of Food Science lecture and lab sections, Sensory Evaluation of Foods, Food Chemistry, Food Chemistry Fundamentals, and possibly others during the Fall 2024 semester.

The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction. Applicants should specify which course is of primary interest.

QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:

Interested candidates should have a degree in food science preferably at the MS or PhD level. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of MS Office applications. Must have authorization to work in the USA.
