Position Information

The Department of Food Science in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Part-time Lecturers to teach during the Fall 2019 semester various undergraduate courses: Science of Food (11:400:103); Principles of Food Science Lab (11:400:202); Food Processing Technologies (11:400:301); Sensory Evaluation of Foods (11:400:405); and, Food Chemistry (11:400:411), and possibly other courses.The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction. Applicants should specify which course is of primary interest.Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Interested candidates should have a degree in food science preferable at the MS or PhD level. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness and experience.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
