As a
Post 16 Teaching Assistant , you will play a key role in guiding students through their coursework and supporting their personal development. You’ll work closely with teachers and students, ensuring every learner feels supported and encouraged.Responsibilities :Assist students aged 16+ with their academic studies.Provide one-on-one and small group support in the classroom.Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive attitudes.Prepare resources and materials for lessons.Help students develop life skills and independence.Requirements :Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.Knowledge of working with Post 16 learners.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a passion for education.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or completing an application for a new check.For more information or to register your interest in the
