Emergency Medicine ResearchJob Summary:In your pivotal role as Social Scientist Assistant 2, you will develop and execute analysis using appropriate analytic techniques. You will conduct remote web-based interviews and moderate focus groups with a spectrum of healthcare stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, academic experts, and policymakers. You also will synthesize, interpret, and communicate complex quantitative and qualitative results to internal and external audiences, as well as perform quality assurance and quality control procedures on your own work and the work of others. Additionally, you will support team members in ideation and dissemination of projects and proactively seek out opportunities to build scientific reputation. Additional duties will include preparing written technical reports, peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations and supporting project leads in identifying challenges and strategies to mitigate risk early on; you will then communicate any risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership if necessary. This position supports qualitative research needs, which may include in-person patient facing interviews, observations, and potential study enrollment. This role is a hybrid remote position, though most of your time will be working in the office during your training period.
