About the Position

Transdev is looking for a Training Manager in Livermore, CA, to support our Safety and Training Department. The Training Manager will collaborate with the Safety Manager to determine the appropriate compliance and administrative forms/requirements to ensure the program is based on regulations and company policy.

The salary range for this opportunity is $80,000-100,000 (DOE).

Training Manager major responsibilities:

Interviews driver candidates, selects drivers based on Contract Manager approval, and/or supervises employees performing this function.

Designs and/or delivers training to drivers, which may include classroom or behind-the-wheel formats.

May also have other safety program responsibilities (e.g., accident investigation, forms compliance, safety meetings, passenger management, analysis, and reporting).

Other duties as assigned.

Training Manager requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

2 to 3 years of transportation, safety, or related experience.

1 to 3 years of training experience.

Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues.

Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Good verbal, written, and relational communication skills, with the ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels, including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and the general public.

Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Possess a working vehicle to travel within the service area as needed.
